this video has just so completely changed the way i play now im going to try and focus more on the key notes and just experiment around them this makes what im doing sound so much more melodic. thankyou

you are really welcome....I did this because I know what bassists want to know...they want to do all that stuff that they hear...so I figure this video would cut to the chase because these patterns are what we all wind up doing at the end of the day...(basically)keep practicing!

This is really good. I normally stick to the scales and using the pentatonic scales from my days of playing guitar, but this is really good!
