Here we are at Los Angeles Union Station, where another odd train departs the station. On the left, we see Metrolink Train 606, the Orange County Line local train to Oceanside, consisting of F59PHI 886 and 5 Bombardier bi-level coaches. On the right, we see Metrolink Train 217, the Antelope Valley Line local train to Lancaster, with an odd consist. Train 217 consists of F59PHI 884 and 6 Sounder Bombardier bi-level coaches. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The video was taken on December 11th, 2008.
Metrolink in SCAL is like GO Train in Southern Ontario. They are regional commuter rail service. BTW: How many Union Stations are there ?

This is interesting. I just found a video a few days ago of a Metrolink train with ACE equipment, now I see this.

i wonder if MetroLink leased the two sounder engines too - VRE had 9 sounder coaches, 3 cabs, and 2 locos - all of which were returned, supposedly this "loan" was made possible by the VRE return....
