You obviously have a problem correlating what your eyes see with what your ears hear - or you're not a drummer. Those very much are his drums you can hear; any competent drummer can see, never mind hear, that he is playing every beat - and pretty much beat perfect. I couldn't detect any mistakes; Kiel is doing himself a disservice.
The only really objective criticism that could be raised would be about the sound; the bass drum is a tad too low in the mix, that's about all.
