thats eps foam that theyre using there most hobbystores sell it but what you really want is the extruded stuff that doesnt puff into little balls when used you can get it from building supply stores most common skimboard thicknesses are 3/4" and 5/8". the foam theyre using there is real soft and will pressure ding easily even after glassing. when buying foam ask for the highest density, makes it heavier but alot stronger

i believe its eps foam bro . find it at home depot as insulation foam! its usuallt pink in color but u can paint it with latex paint.
