Madonna has sold her body better than anyone else. Nowadays Britney is doing the same thing. That's why I mostly dislike most of the current female singers except Xtina, Celine and Mariah but even they (except Celine) seem to be concentrating more on skin exposure rather than good music. I agree with you that Mariah and Whitney have sold more albums than Celine in US, but in whole world Celine has sold more than both of them..i think Celine's music is more universal than them....but Madonna is still #1 in female selling record

Well that's an incredibly boring bit of information but still doesn't support what you said. I shall say again the united states does not record the record sales for every country in the world their for, the list's of artist you gave earlier is only the US.

I should know that the list was only for the U.S. (because I do think I mentioned it).
You don't think I know this?? I know the U.S. is responsible for only their sales, and Celine really didn't make it as the best female singer here. But since she was bilingual, she was able to reach more people and achieve more sales. Does that make her the best selling female artist? But best selling and best singer are 2 totally different things.

Well i would say that best singer is down to opinion but with the largest global sales for a female artist i think she would rank in most people's top 3.
