  • Crashed and burned, $649 and up, no way!

Who would pay that much, are they crazy?

Who ever set the price needs to be fired for wasting company resources!

Coming to a store near you on sale for $99.95 very soon..

  • i'd rather get an ipad. :P

  • Too expensive for what little it does. Capacitive touchscreen is dodgy and lags. Who has the time to spend half a minute to do something as simple as a keyword search? No multitasking. Too slow.

Hopefully a lot of business types will buy this first model so that Plastic Logic will have lots of money to build a better model

  • There is an amazon Kindle application for the ipod/iPhone that acts as a reader. If you mean that apple should make a reader, they are coming out with a table very soon.

  • what do you mean?

  • kindle app much?

  • The Apple store should consider making one of their Ipod/Iphone apps as a reader.

  • @7075403942 Yeah, it does look pricey for an E-Reader, even with the big screen.

  • And? surf the web? Email? Text? Notes? Voice Control? Ect???? Just because it have a bigger screen does not mean it can have a price tag of 800 dollars!

  • @7075403942 A bigger screen is nice for certain documents, like newspapers and pdfs. Still, you can get a Kindle DX for 489.
