@jonvincent12 no it prevents ripping the computer off the table while charging and it dosent hurt anything macs have magnets on the screen also

i prefer this one over the new charger. because now the cord is perpedicular to the outlet and that means the cord(new charger) is bent where as in this one(the old charger) it's straight. i only have my new macbook pro for a month and this new cords already shorting out because of that. its a pain in the ass to always be looking at the cord to make sure its not bent -_-
