Video posted with permission.

This is a music video I did for Bent Image Lab. I was one of 4 compositors working on this project. I worked on every shot that has any live action actors. I did keying, character duplication, set construction, and a whole lot more.

You folks in the UK look for this video on MTV!

Other compositors were my friends Dustin Dybevik, Emily Myers, and Lead compositor Randy Wakerlin. Produced by Jainee Dial and directed by Daniel Garcia.

Thanks to Mark from Ash for allowing me to post this video www.ashofficial.com

  • You shock me more and more lol one day youll be on the big screen you know that right -dutch

  • I'll be sure to let everyone know when that happens too. lol

  • looks really cool. Do they just tell you what to do and you do it or do you make ideas up and show it to them?

  • Depends on the project. The Verizon ad was very specific but this video allowed some creative input.

  • um well a comp with the same stuff is about $3000 from a store and the australian dollar is about 95c of an american so yeah its good

  • Cool. Is $1000 Australian good?

  • Great job Mike keep up the great work. 10*

  • My computers specs are.

    8gb of RAM

    Quad core I5 processor

    Nvidia 220 (1gb onboard ram)

1500 gb of hard drive space

It cost me only $1000 australian. I built it myself.

  • for PC go with Adobe Premier. I think that is the most popular for getting a job with PC but they will almost always want you to know FCP. AVID is a hardware based program so you would have to spend thousands if you wanted to learn it not on the job.

  • Thanks man. I think they make good money if they have tons upon tons of subscribers. for me it wouldn't be worth it at this point.
