@jamesrschultz really? on a 40gb hdd dual boot win xp and ubuntu it works flawlessly

@SamoraTheGreat Exactly. I don't exactly own a T42 -- but a T40. I can honestly say that this laptop is just great. I recently installed a 1GB RAM module, and I'm really satisfied. You can definetly install Windows Vista / 7 on these laptops, it won't show any issue.

@GrafvonWindeck I got the Windows 7 drivers from Windows Update, and Lenovo's driver site. Any Vista drivers you find for this hardware should also work in Windows 7.

@jamesrschultz naah i think ubuntu 10.10 runs PERFECTLY on it, better than win xp/7

@jamesrschultz what do you mean, ubuntu barely uses any space, wthe wireless work out of the box (rare) and its overall faster than anything!
