First two sets was 90 lb x 2 reps. The next 3 sets was 75 x 6 reps. Controlling the weight going all the way down and somewhat slow.

  • i dont get it, i can do this for 6 reps but i dont have the size. i want size, not just strength. i dont even look like i can DB press 75's. how do you get the size?

  • @xthexTxvirusx

Time and lots of chicken/sweet potatoes lol

  • bad form, very bad, u need to practice of these b4 jumping on the 90s again, check my vid, 120 8 reps ... only weigh 73kg

  • @lilmighty100

how is my form bad? I was controlling the weight and going all the way down. I kept a slight arc in my back and kept the weights level. BTW my range of motion is probably way more than yours.

  • @lilmighty100

Yea I just watched your video and the only difference I saw was that you had a spotter to help you and your arms were shaky.

  • Good job, I can't lift that heavy with dumbells, but I'm working on it. Also, I find that (for hypertrophy/size anyway) that it's better to not lock out your elbows at the top of the rep, really keeps the chest and triceps under tension.

  • @power8298 thanks, i've been eating better since i got back from deployment. i dont feel malnutritioned.

  • @power8298 check this, i hit 85's for 5x7 currently. when you hit 5x7 with your 70's, the following week hit 75's for 5x5. warm-up with 10 light reps ( 25lbs less than your 6 reps), go for 5x5's, then burn out with a 10lb drop in your DB weights. weight for 10-12 reps.

    example, 10 reps of 60lb DBs, 5x5 with 85lb DB's, 10 reps with 70-75lb DBs for a burn out.

  • Nice form dude

  • @xthexTxvirusx do 8-10 reps for size, under 8 is strength. Strengths more important though.

  • I can do 85 and I dont look like I can but i do it llol nice lift

  • can someone tell me why this is bad form? did i miss something i am not trying to be sarcastic just want to know if its really bad form. i din't think so but would like to know

  • @jasonjinx People chat shit when they can't do it. Good vid.
