I hope Ms . Ponder and the other brave women will forgive me for glorifying Mrs. Hamer. I was pleased to see Unita Blackwell who said of Mrs. Hamer "God set her aside to do work" (I think) she was a freedom fighter and a holy woman

today is March 14th Mrs. Hamer died on this day in 1977 God rest her immortal soul!
