Buddhi Stotra is in Sanskrit and it is written by shri Yadnayavalkya Rushi. It is a prayer made to Saraswati, Goddess of knowledge, intelligence, Speech, Poetry, Arts, singing, Memory and literature. Shri Yadnayavalkya Rushi is asking Devi Saraswati for the blessings. He is telling the Goddess that he has lost his memory, knowledge, intelligence and asking for her favour to give him everything again.
In the Stotra he reminds Saraswati how she had given her blessings to many people. At the end Goddess Saraswati appears in front of the Rushi and assures him to give him everything he has asked for.
By reciting this stotra, daily with faith and concentration we receive blessings from Saraswati and get proficiency in Speech, Poetry, knowledge etc.
