The Missouri NAACP holds a press conference to get the St Louis Prosecutor to drop charges against two men, one white and one black, who are accused of attacking a black man outside a tea party townhall in August 2009.

In this video, the host of the press conference says Kenneth Gladney, the African American victim, is a poster child for Uncle Toms because he works against his race, and was photographed being kissed on the head by a European.

The two men accused of attacking Gladney go on trial this month. Elston McCowan, the man standing next to the speaker, can be seen laughing when the speaker says Gladney is not a brother.

  • Uhm yea the NAACP is racist, I'm not an European but American like the man speaking. I come from multiple cultures and ethnic groups tracing my ancestry back as would that man. How many so called African-Americans can say they are pure "African?" Africa is full of different cultures and ethnic groups as well so it is quite insulting to your ancestors to refer to them as one huge group. We are all mutts and there is no pure breeds otherwise we'd have genetic problems as seen in the Amish.

  • Those people haven't even read Uncle Tom's Cabin. Uncle Tom was actually a character in Harriet Beecher-Stowe's novel that was inspired by the Reverend Josiah Henson, who worked on the Underground Railroad. He was a brave man who did much for his people - much like the Uncle Tom in the novel. They are just ignorant.

  • @tkcrofamericans

There are no jobs out there for millions of people. It's the fact.

  • @LLORT3 that is the problem they just give it away. no one is going to appreciate what other people are actually doing for them who are working. I am not saying unemployment is wrong but for 6 months not 2 years. give me a break get a job they are out there. the poor is a different story they get money then have more babies so they can get more money no one stops or controls it. I will help you if you have a child but when you go out and have another you are done no more. life is about choices.

  • @tkcrofamericans

All I'm saying is the poor should be helped, not the rich. That is my Christian duty, but charity only goes so far. That is why I support Democrats, since they speak truth to power and try to give money to the poor and unemployed, like myself.

  • @LLORT3 yes and that means everyone pays the same amount and get off the government gravy train. If you want to have kids think about it and see if you can afford it. What was made to help people now actually hurts people and you feel better about yourself when you earn your money not get it given to you. You want more work more or educate yourself more. If we all are guaranteed the same in life no matter how hard we work then no one will work hard. It is the pursuit of happiness no a guarantee!

  • @RothdeMan

So I don't understand, do you want the middle class to pay their fair share or not? Or are you saying the rich are paying too much?

IMHO I think everyone needs to put more skin in the game.

  • @LLORT3 The rich already pay more in taxes. and unless you were not aware, poor people DO NOT create jobs. Some people just do get it, you can tax the rich 100% and it still would not cover the deficit because the middle class is the biggest class in terms of revenue hence the lie by Obama that anyone making under 250K(which is not "rich") would see not a dime in new taxes. Higher taxes are coming on all, including the rich whom will be less inclined to hire as we are seeing now.

  • @RothdeMan

Er, I'm not telling you what to do with your money, I'm just saying that those who are wealthy have a duty to pay more taxes so that the country is not spread too thin. The problem is when the rich keep too much of their money. The Bush tax cuts are one of the reasons we are in a deficit. President Obama is not helping by spending like a madman on top of that.
