@sertox12345 OMG That youtube vid was because of winds and THIS IS A BIRD STRIKE NOTHING WRONG WITH IT ONLY BIRDS THAT MAKE ENGINE BAD K CAN YOU UNDERSTAND ME NOOB? IF YOU CANT FUCK YOU!
@kyungjinn Glad you asked. Airlines calculate precisely the amount of fuel needed to get to a destination. The amount, however, adds tons and tons of sheer weight onto the aircraft. If the plane were to land with all of its fuel, the suspension could break or even far worse. Dumping fuel removes that factor in the landing process and also allows for more lift from the wings supporting the behemoth. I see it as genius. As for the fuel, Ever seen a waterfall? Looks like a cloud, huh?
Why would you dump fuel if a bird struck the turbine?.. Why doesn't it just land and keep the fuel it has onboard?.. Isn't there the problem of running out of fuel before landing?
Also... isn't jet fuel supposed to be liquid?
Hahah... as you can see I know nothing about planes >.>

@jsc1192 Actually Asiana Air is doing quite well. It's the Airlines' holding company that's in trouble. Asiana recently had one of best years.

@kyungjinn they have to dump the fuel because the plane would be to heavy to land.

@boupontius
Only source of Korean pilot is the korean airforce, which can not supply
enough pilot for the airline industry. There aren't much of pilot schools
outside of the military.
so Korean airline companies hire many foreign pilots.
