  • @2cooldahomie Regardless of who started what, Eazy-E was nowhere near the level of Outkast lyrically. Give me one Eazy-E song where he is spitting non-stop pure lyrical genius (and no, talking about gangbanging is not lyrical, at least not in the way he did it). If you think Eazy-E is a better rapper, you're entitled to that opinion. But don't try to act like he was on the same level lyrically/talent-wise as Outkast.

I also would like to mention that B.I.G was great at both being a lyricist and storytelling type. Tupac was an incredible storytelling rapper, likely the best at that style not to mention a flawless poet. Big Pun is an incredible lyricist. Cube spits incredible street knowledge and GAME. Too Short is anything but a lyricist, but he's still an amazing rapper in my book! E-40=simply an incredible lyricist. Method Man does both. You have to give props to all styles.

If you really respect hip-hop you would appreciate its diversity. Some rappers are considered "lyricists" and others are more of the storytelling type. It sounds to me as if you only appreciate the lyricists and not the others. Some great lyricists for example include Andre, Ras Kass, Can-i-bus, Tash, etc,. Some great storytellers include Ice Cube, Chuck D, LL, Xzibit, etc. Rappers like Snoop, Guru, Erick Sermon do both styles well. & Eazy-E was incredible, stop hating.

  • @2cooldahomie I hate to break this to you but outkasts worst song (if there is one) is better than Eazy's Career...

  • nope 1993 was hip-hop at it's PEAK. Can anyone really argue against that?

    Tho 1996 was NIIIIIICE

  • @AllyouNeedis1Mike STR8 UUUUUP !!!!!1111

  • I wish this shit was longer.

  • D-D-D-D, Wi!

  • ATLIENS is the best smokin' music.

  • @CaliforniaAngelsBOYY So true, late '94-late '96 was THE golden age in overdrive, but once that brief golden period ended, mindless bling bling pop rap infiltrated the airwaves and, well.....you know the rest..
