He was the Autobot with the electric whips that connected Optimus to Jetfire at the end. For some reason he only got a one second car shot in the actual film.

Technically Optimus is a prop truck made from salvaged Peterbilt trucks. He wasn't sponsored.
They tried but GM didn't have any trucks that were big enough.

i think the only problem with transformers is that chevy sponsored them,
they made the movie too like a chevy advertisement...that just ruins it..
i dont mind the cars being a chevy but at some of the car shots, you just know they are getting a bit carried away...
unlike in movies like fast 5 where it doesnt look too obvious that dodge sponsored them..
