It says a lot about the mentality of people that the top comment for this video is "Go to hell pelicans". This clip is taken from a series called 'Nature's Great Events', narrated by David Attenborough. The pelicans had no choice but to eat the gannet chicks, as fish was in short supply. Obviously their own chicks and themselves are their top priority. Animals don't take some kind of perverse pleasure out of killing each other; that's a human trait.

@rnavarro182 Well said. I'm amazed at the retards who hate pelicans and call them cannibals. That's like calling a lion a cannibal for eating a zebra just because they're both mammals. The pelicans had to eat the gannet chicks due to fish shortages.
