    One thing.

When showing the running idle and load temps reviewing CPU coolers, do try to mention the ambient temperatures. Being from an equatorial region, the temperatures here are very different from what you guys have (was previously from Vancouver)

This will give viewers from different areas a rough gauge to the performance of the coolers used in your vids, as I'm sure it'd be cooler in some other parts of the world, and not as cool in others.

  • @randomdrifter I usually do , in this case only I didnt. It was 21C Celsius room temp.

  • hey, will this be any good to replace a stock HS/F for a athlon x4 640? i dont really want to watercool, but i wana get my temps a little lower, i got a aftermarket cooler master 430 elite case, so i have plenty of room.

  • AGECOOLER cool your cpu

  • Can you rotate it?

  • one other guy swapped the default cooler on amd quadcore.. wow the difference in sound.. it was almost soundless in idle !

  • I got mine this week, and while it's a good cooler, it does have a few quirks.

The fan seems to have a weird humming/buzzing noise to it. A low frequency one that never seems to stop. No matter what speed I set the fan to, it just keeps humming. So that's quite annoying.

However, the temps are quite good. I've got it on my stock 2500k and it's keeping it @ below 38 most of the time.

  • Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @3,5Ghz. Idle temperatures 26'C for core 1, and 30'C for core 2. Load temperatures 48'C and 51'C, and fan at minimum (noiseless!!) really good FAN! Room was around 23'C or so

  • could you do a little bit of overclocking with the it?

and btw what small cpu cooler would you recommend for a mid tower case?

  • IS THIS PUSH PIN FOR 775

  • @GamerFollower

The fan on this heat sink is also stuck a 300 RPM and on the website it says it should go a min of 800 RMP. why is it stick on that? I have a 3pin connector even though it is a 4pin
