I went up to Island Lake in Northern Wisconsin in July of this year (2010) It was so beautiful one morning I took out my JVC Everio GZHD6 and my Letus35 mini DOF adapter, as well as my glider and took several views of the lake, scenery and the cabin. ENJOY!

Music composed by myself.

THANKS FOR WATCHING!

  • Gorgeous. I just got back from Door Co. and now I want to go back! About the Letus Mini: How does it feel when you go handheld? Is it still a bit bulky? Also when handheld, do you find it at all difficult to find your focus just using the little LCD screen on your JVC? Thanks!!!

  • @harvurd Handheld (without rails) is fairly comfortable. If you are using a follow focus,( and rails for it of course), it is a bit bulky and uncomfortable. I bought a shoulder mount (CB-105) because of that and it worked very well. The LCD screen was close to my eyes and therefore I could focus well (sometimes it was a bit too close). I sold my JVC & Letus Mini for a Canon T2i DSLR. But honestly, I got comparable footage from both. I just like the convenience of small lightweight rig.

  • thats a good video man, im relaxed to the max :0)

  • @MattyBowdenShow Me too! It took me forever to get this edited because I was constantly daydreaming about going back up there. :)

  • watch in HD

    you must

  • @reincarnage256 Agreed. It is far nicer to watch in HD. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • @McAngelo24 I used Final Cut Pro - Actually Final Cut Studio - it has stuff in it from Apple Motion. That is where those come from. Nice to work with.

    THanks again.

  • Sounds good man. Oh, by the way, how did you make that animation a the end man ?? what software..etc ?? thx

  • @McAngelo24 Thanks. I'll keep on plugging away.

  • @McAngelo24 Thanks! The Letus is far better than the JAG, IMO, mostly because it flips the image for you. And, it's edge-to-edge sharpness of image is far superior. You end up PAYING for that superiority, though. Typical JAG35 Pro is $300 or so, the Letus35 Mini starts at $800 new. Plus, the Letus has less light loss than the JAG. But... I've had both and I love both for what they are.

If you have the $, get the Letus. If you can swing a JAG, you'll still be pleased.

  • Not to mention the music.(composed by yourself) you're very talented man. The tracking shots at 4:30 and up are the right speed in IMHO. What about the letus do you prefer it than teh Jag ?? what about the price ?? Thx

  • Simply beautiful mate !! A true inspiration you're to the video community Jerry !! Keep it up. Looking forward to see more :)
