  • The photos dont match the description being typed accross the video. You showed the IZ Apartments opposite to the new Embassy Compound to be route Irish... bull! You showed a dead man sitting in the seat of his car body blood stained and called him terrorist. In fact he was an innocent Iraqi citizen probably a 'terp' (interpreter). You showed Muqis (Moqtada) boys in pick ups or on the streets in Baghdad? They control south Iraq and Sadr City. Rest is all AQ Iraq and other splinter groups. Peace.

  • @nYxkYx We produced this video based on actual war footage provided by the soldiers and some stock images collected by journalists to create a narrative based on historical accounts provided by the soldiers themselves, serious incident reports and the record collected from Richard E. Killblane US Army Transportation Historian. Thank you for your interest.

  • Thanks for showing this. My sons were in the service during Viet Nam. I appreciate seeing the real thing.

  • Whether or not someone agrees with the war efforts... you should still praise your men and women out there sacrificing their lives for their country. I think its awful what some of these people say.

  • Time to move on folks, this mission is over and it is time to move forward and do better things now. No more videos or any mention of this would be a good start, hey taking the videos down would be even better at this point.

  • @lordtiberius Thank you too Sir for making this video. I dont agree with it; but I loved every bit of watching and getting nostalgic about the IZ!

  • @GixxerSgt Dude you do not even know me and I bet if you did and ever served with me you would have never said something so childish and silly. 7 Years, well friend I have T-shirts older than that. I had crews not just a crew guy you have no idea what these men had to endure and deal with on the roads outside the gates going all over Iraq. You like to talk about Gobbles and Knobs perhaps this is a fetish you have? Maybe you were forced to choke one or two down and want to take it out on us?

  • I am the Lt that this video series speaks of, first and foremost, I never wrote any of it. I have never nor will ever consider myself a "War Hero" and quit frankly anyone of the soldiers that served with me would tell you that as well. I was part of a team of 63 soldiers, many were transfers, cross levels etc some came from units that had no clue of how to treat combat soldiers, but for sure when they came to the 518th we sure appreciated all of them and those 63 are the people I call Hero.

  • 7 years is sure less than 22 of which 16 was first done enlisted, your comments show your lack of courage and lack of education
