Terrific soundtrack, I think the best of John Barry, captures the spirit of the film!

i simply just love the music!

This was my first John Barry soundtrack. It's a great score and I'm a huge fan of this version of King Kong. Could be because I saw it in the theater back in '76 as a kid. The '76 version is pretty entertaining and has an 'epic' feel to it. I think the 1933 original is brilliant and still amazes me. I do also like the Peter Jackson version, but it was too long and had a bit too much of a video game look to it.

John Barry R.I.P., you were a genius.

The 1976 version is excellent, I loved the chemistry, the love theme is probably my favorite of all time, is as if the whole thing was real when I listen to it ,and my kleenex box handy. Hey Peter Jackson (director of the 2005 film) you ruined the king kong legacy, you worked with the best computer graphics and that was the best you could do?? no chemistry, noting special. I thought I was watching a sequel to Jurassic Park .

this was the best king kong ever made, bar none
Fun old classic. Barry brilliant score gives the film a spirit and beauty it might not have without it. His talent and passion will be missed.
