When the wind picks up on the frozen lake, awesomeness occurs, with utilization of our home-made sleds. It's ice sailing, baby. Riding across ice with only the wind pushing you.
Now, Colorado. The climate---well, it's bipolar. Which is why the winter can have relatively warm days while---heck, no one said it can't snow in July! We sure get plenty of sunshine, though. 300 days of it per year, mind you. But anyway, in this video, it's clearly winter. Now as we all know, the usual winter activities would be, uh... doing awesome snowboarding tricks, some sweet skiing, you know. Why, count sledding for all I care. Anyway, we happened to be CAMPING in the mountains. And the second day there it happened to be windy. Since there wasn't that much snow, we had no use for our sleds. But it sure was fun to take them on the frozen lake. When the wind really started howling, someone figured out that the tarps, which are used for tents, would be perfect to harness the power of the wind to push the sleds forward. Why, it worked, I tell you!
Sadly, all I had was a digital camera, so the quality isn't really that good. I did get a bit of good footage though. Enough for you to see how awesome it is! Seriously, tell everybody about this video!! DO IT, MAN!
