  • Luckliy there is a DVD available with over 10 hours of You Bet Your Life, The Lost Episodes. It includes origional commercials aired with the original broadcasts. I have had hours of enjoyment. The Stag Reels, edited out for broadcast that became an annual presentation of the DeSoto conventions, were absolutley hilarious.

  • Cool Bite! TV was NNEW! It's how they did it back when musicians were traveling around from Radio Station to Radio Station singing into a can. Thanks for the post! 5tars!!!!!

  • This was the tag seen just before the closing credits on the show every week during the mid-'50s; it became one of Groucho's "trademarks" on "YOU BET YOUR LIFE".
