As I changed to After Effects I'm back from 0 starting with effects. Vegas Pro was good for some basic stuff, but it didn't convince me at all, even tho I sitll use it for simple things.

I've done this clone combat effect with After Effects, I know it could be better.

  • probably lowering the sound effect volume so that it wouldn't overall exceed the ambient/background sounds should work ... also play around with the balance or DolbyDigital surround settings/features to give a bit more immersive sound experience(sort of ... let it actually feel like how something moves across the screen when you close the eyes and listen to the sound)

  • @karlis1989 You are right, I will watch out about it in the next test video. Thanks for the tips Karlis.

  • Now thats some really nicely put together visual effects ... most of the sound effects hovever felt like there was a mic. strapped on to everything that moves which resulted in first-person-like mono-ish sound
