In A Season Of Soft Rains - Trailer

The only existing footage of a lost underground movie cult filmmaker Richard Stanley ("Hardware", "Dust Devil") wrote & directed in the mid-80s.

Shot on Super8, "In A Season of Soft Rains" dealt with an American hitman assigned to assassinate the last member of the Royal family in a mutant-riddled, flooded, futuristic London.

The film's only copy was lost in a series of tumultous events shortly after the release of "Hardware".

Richard Stanley tried to produce a big-screen version for several years, but the project was never greenlit.

This assembly (edited from two different vintage trailers) is scored to the "Wasteland" comic-book main theme.
