Hypnotic Brass Ensemble - Balicky Bon - Villiers Street 28/4/2008

I saw this lot on Villiers street in London, just outside Embankment tube on 28 April 2008 and thought they were fantastic.

I wish I'd stuck around to hear more, but I was in that stupid commuter mindset where making your train is the most important thing in the world, so after I filmed this, I ran off up to Charing Cross. Wish I'd stayed longer now.

Had to find out who they were off youtube - have since bought the album and am kind of a zealous convert. They're great.

Feel like I should defend the people of London on this one - plenty did stop to hear them. A decent crowd gathered out of shot to my right - you get a small glimpse of them at the end of the video. This was their first song too...

VIlliers Street is between a busy tube stop and a busy mailine station, and this was in rush hour, hence the masses of people walking by...

They are amazing, i have the album, im just so into their music, hypnotic brass is one of the best bands out there... respect their music, and never get tired of it.

How can you not stop?! This is insane, I would've expected you Londoners to have more soul considering how much the UK has contributed to music. In New York, anywhere these guys play, you MUST stop.
