Can you believe that Goble and Birtles and Housden really got hot because Farnham was such a "Glory Hound" and was all over the stage any time they didnt tape his mic cord down to the floor. They felt "Intimidated" because he "oversang" the songs and he showboated ...made them look "average".
He made them look Great and his vocals were and are "Over The Top" excellent~
Wayne Nelson was also an excellent vocalist and a very talented Bass Player as well.

JUST MISSED!!! "The Other Guy" just missed making the Billboard's Top 10 chart; it peaked at No. 11 and spent a total of 18 weeks in the Top 100 in 1982/83, it entered the charts on Nov. 20th, 1982!!!

Ahhh, Johnny Farnham, what a vocalist he is. Gold Class 100%

Hey you guys.John F. doesn't "oversing" anything. He's just so damn fab that some people don't know how to react to his gift. Jeeze..he's pitch perfect, and never misses a note. He's a vocal genius, that colors his notes, because that's how he feels the song.Nobody can bend a phrase like John F! Cheers to FreeTheRocks. ;+D

is there an ablum with ohn farnham?

Yeah, it's stupid, isn't it? LRB were awesomely talented but John Farnham has one of the most powerful and clear singing voices in history, so of course he "oversang" the songs. LRB should've been grateful to have Farnham!

That is A Big Bummer to Me, Cause I'm A Very Big Fan, I Was Raised Around This Music
I love this band and I saw this concert on HBO back in the 80's. I would love to have the dvd of it but can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know where or how I could get the dvd?
