A shot of Illy Espresso (beans), grinded with the Mahlkönig Vario, tamped with the Tamping Tom and pulled with the Gaggia Classic.

Questions:

- 51 secs ... too long?
- It pours better on the left then the right (which drips)

Also: sorry for the noised in the image, had to shot with low lighting...

  • how are you finding this setup?

  • @Johanvideo525 I love it! The gaggia and vario combo is a great package! Especially considering the price of the Classic vs a Silvia for example. I have since improved on my shots (and taste ;) ) and did upgrade to a naked portafilter and a silvia steaming wand (the plastic gaggia is sh*t :p )

    Cheers

  • Much too long from what I was taught. Typically 18-23 seconds from the time it starts pouring through (which should take 3-5 seconds to start).
