I hereby call for an end to endless introductions to endless introductions.

Wolff's got it right, and should be required reading in all american schools. Capitalism has to end, but I'm afraid it will destroy us before we destroy it. Ignorance kills...

No other economist that I have listened to or read understands and explains how we got into this mess and accurately, clearly or concisely as Richard Wolff. Now, to understand why the crisis is worldwide, look up the word "colonialism" and you now have a very good understanding of what is really happening.
Another author that I really enjoy, who explains how US foreign policy works, who is behind it and the motivation behind it is John Perkins. Read Confessions Of An Economic Hitman.

I recently came across a couple of Wolf's lectures, he completely made me understand the situation we are in today. We now know the truth and are ready to take action to make a change. We need someone to transform our ideas and vote power into something that could change the way things are for the benefit of the middle class in America.

I am a big fan of Wolff! He tells the truth.
Devastating analysis. Make sure you watch this right through to the end. Marx makes even more sense today than 100 years ago.

Excellent lecture. Class is unfortunately a part of nature. Most animals engage in power struggles. Hence the term "pecking order". We humans as the ultimate product of evolution should know better but we don't. The class system is the best example of the fact that humans are little better than the supposed lower life forms on this planet.
