It's pretty common for virus scanners to mistake EXE's you compile as malware.

A solution is to turn off the virus protection while you're developing. Just remember to turn it back on again when you're done!

A better solution is to find a virus scanner that's not so stupid. I like AVG, it used to have this problem but it seems to be fixed nowadays.
