In the days before EU regulations this must have been a great spectator sportshame it had to die back in 1977.

It was a round of the then World Sportscar Championship........same as le Mans 24hr, Spa 1000km,etc...but errrm.....just around the mountains of Sicily.....no pressure then....!!

@vrimi79 Its a 10 lap race on a 45 mile track in the last years. Its not time trial, you can see some overtaking in the video.

At first I was annoyed that this is a low quality video of original film footage, but after watching just a few seconds of it... It is a very charming experience to see it as it was seen then. Thank You!!

Thanks for watching. I know it is low quality: please see my comments about the quality (three months ago), for which I make no apology. Getting these things done professionally is expensive, I might get it done one day (or sell it...).
