This is a test whether a mid-2011 MacBook Air i5 11 inch can drive a 2560 x 1440 pixel 27 inch Apple LED Cinema Display.

This is the second test, testing interface responsiveness with two 720p video streams playing at one.

Use iMovie and play two 720p video streams at the same time.
Show both streams running in OS X Lion Mission Control.

  • @appletylercj It mightn't be about the cost of the adapter. I'd just get one that you can return if it doesn't work, so you can try another. :-)

  • Can I run a MacBook air to my 37 inch vizio tv?!

  • @appletylercj The MacBook Air should run your 37 inch Vizio LCD no problem. You'll need a Mini Display Port to HDMI adaptor. I've read that some adaptors work and some don't - be aware of this if the first adaptor you try doesn't work.
