When it comes to water boarding, well we do it to our own soldiers to show them what it's like if they are caught.
What I kept hearing was "defending myself", what about defending my family? Do say to my kids, "take it on the chin kids, Daddy can't help you because I don't think Jesus would do that" What kind of man of God am I being then?
Yes there are very hard things that we must do at times, I am so glad we can have this discussion, but to what end? What are we losing?
Wow, that's quite a deep subject. I've gotten into several disagreements with some of my friends on the subject of Christians and whether or not they should go to war, defend themselves from a home invasion, etc. It's good to see that such a discussion can take place in such a respectable way.
the torture we use is actually very humane. there are fewer regulations in other countries and their methods are truly horrific. however, no one says anything about them. the mere fact that we desire to regulate our interrogation says a lot. if panties on heads and flushing the quran is torture, our detainees have it made compared to what their countries would do to us.
I am in awe! This is an outstanding podcast! Makes you think on so many different levels. Tony outdid himself on this one.
