  • Questions for Discussion

What are your favorite examples of art in the green movement? Feel free to link to outside images.

Shirin discusses the way that recent events in Iran are paralleled in the nation's art and history. Where do you see interesting examples of these parallels?

Professor Dabashi speaks of protecting "the green shoots of our civil liberties". What steps will you take to protect this movement?

What questions do you have for Shirin, Professor Dabashi, or future guests?

  • This is amazing, great work! Shirin was the perfect first guest, she is such a powerful woman and really embodys the Iranian people's struggle for civil liberties. The Week in Green is helping move forward the Green Movement!

  • To know how Britain & USA overthrow the Shah in 1979 & imposed the merciless terrorist Mullahs 1 need to read the book "HOSTAGE TO KHOMEINI" by Robert Dreyfuss. Osabama however is the protecter of Carter's revolution as he is serving as Carter's 2nd term. Hamid Dabashi is a charlatan & a well known Mullah's lobbyist pretending to be anti-Mullahs & pro-green. After all he is the bastard son of a former TUDEH & a reactionary Muslim zelot. Dabbashi is a hated personality that no good Iranian trust.

  • shehoya madarim salaam ma bishtat

  • AMOO BRO KASHKETO BESAB

  • I wanted to say that the title of this video has a typo. It should be Shirin Neshat not Shirin Ebadi in Farsi part of the title.

  • love this.
