  • schiff has enough brain ram so he can answer questions lightning fast in real time. obama has no bandwidth, he has to keep his data on a usb thumb drive.

  • you can judge what a candidate will do by his or her history. schiff has written books and appeared on tv for years predicting what was happening, and he was right. mcmahon and simmons have no history of knowing what was happening. they were clueless. she donated to democrats and supported the bernanke renomination. that disqualifies her right there. simmons went along with bush and the neocons on everything when he was in the HOR. schiff seems to be the most trustworthy candidate.

  • ... or do you want someone who will slap the driver awake, not care that he gets made, grab the wheel away and yank on the emergency brakes ?

  • In normal times, it may make vote for the more mainstream and 'electable' style of a Rob or Linda M, instead of a Peter S. who seems a bit crass and extreme. But I don't think this is normal times - we are in a fast moving car without brakes, the driver is sleeping and we are headed toward the precipice of a steep cliff. In this situation do you want someone who will nudge, hope he doesn;t get mad at being disturbed, and politely request that he change direction, or ....

  • The other candidates may have more conventional "safe" appeal who will generally move things in the right direction. The real test for them would be if there is another emergency stimulus bill proposed and extreme pressure for goverment to "do something". Will they have the iron to resist and not rock the boat? When it comes to shrinking govement they may vote for it it comes up but will they lead the charge? Answer is No. We need a leader not a well0intentioned follower

  • no i've followed him for two years now and i love what he says. he is right. but he has to calm down and level with the voters. you can't win on passion alone, i wish that were the case. he is getting more arrogant each forum he speaks at and i think he needs to study up on the legislation the voters are asking him about. it would make his case that he is the only candidate to vote for, knows all the issues..

  • is this the only time you have seen him? he has explained more to me about economics and government waste than any other politician I have ever heard. Most politicians use vague terminology and talk about things that they themselves don't understand, I would like to see an example of someone who talks about issues better than he does

  • the primary is not until August so I think Peter has plenty of time to "catch on", the more people who hear him talk , the more popular he will become, and he would destroy anyone in a debate!

  • I wish we had someone anywhere close in Kansas

  • every state needs someone like peter

  • END THE FED....Take our country back!

  • maybe, I was just saying that, if Schiff convinces them to vote for him, the specifics of a bill probably won't factor into it. Cause his position is vote against all of them, or repeal all of them

And I think people know that he knows economics, if they send him to washington, its going to be for that

But you're right, he may lose because that might not be enough. But his approach is good, paint Simmons as an establishment, and Linda as someone that just doesn't have the relevant experience
