A lot of the left are quite happy at the prospect of coming out of the EU. The ability to protect work from the influx of cheap labour, to alleviate pressure on welfare, to protect democracy. And of course no more paying to a corrupt Federalist State. Blocking a treaty to derive some tax revenue from the city traders and bankers that have fucked us over is not something I am delighted about. If you think Cameron was doing this for some Libertarian belief I think you are sadly mistaken.

Dear Mr. Ashdown,

have you ever considered that the British people do NOT want this EU and that Cameron is right.

All Britains want , i.e. those in their right mind , is free trade with the EU ( which is almost a given ), but not a Political & Fiscal Union with them.

If those 26 want to give up their Sovereignty to be dictated to by Brussels , let them have it.

After all, Brussels has proved that the Euro is so successful , they should now be very pleased.
