reba was my frist real idol, she'll always be special to me. i know linda sang it first, i never said she didnt. Dusty, in my eyes, is the best. no artist that came before, or has come since her, will ever be as talented or as beautiful as her...xoxo

Dusty is stil with us while I have the sense that Linda Rondstadt is fading for the most part, especially since she's known more for her remakes. I hear 2-3 of them here on the oldies stations. I remember Julia Louis-Dreyfus skewering her when she forayed into another vein of remakes, the Songbook("I can't sing What's New.") . Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? I don't think so.

Linda Ronstadt won a grammy for this record and skyrocketed her back to fame and fortune after being off for some time and man this record did it so good for her vocals as a rocker.Dusty belted it it really good like her too ,great!
