not really. im reading the manga and they're definetly not lesbians. utena is trying to find her "prince" and in order to do so she must duel protecting the rose bride (anthy) and battle all the warriors to meet with her prince. like what kazamon123 said it's more like extreme sisterly love

hahahha.....thats good, the movie shows them as finding each other, alomst like the being the only two humans left on earth, they both know they dont belong in the academy, Touga is....gone. No one truly care for Anthy except for Utena.....its complex
