The speaker's face has been obscured with two chicken eggs in order to protect her identity, because she raises chickens in her own backyard in a residential neighbourhood of the City of Toronto.

  • And you're surprised this was the result? Honestly, get some education.

  • @BeeRich33 Ouch! What "result" are you talking about specifically.

  • This is good. As a fellow Torontonian I fully support the initiative regarding the domestication of chickens in urban backyards.

  • This is the latest news on the issue in the Toronto Sun on April 28, 2010:

The Toronto councillor who oversees animal permits says chickens belong down on the farm — not in or near city residences.

Councillor Howard Moscoe, who heads licensing and standards committee, says the problem with okaying chickens at Toronto homes "is it could get out-of-hand," Moscoe said in an interview Wednesday.

  • @greenappleca You have to protect your identity because you raise farm animals in the City limits? One negative? What about microbiology? Chicken shit stinks.
