Cowabunga Corner News - IDW : Kevin Eastman Interview

Hey Everyone,

A few weeks ago I was able to catch up with Kevin Eastman about the new IDW Comic Books! Kevin is the co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, he worked side by side with Peter Laird through the 80's and early 90's to bring us some of the best TMNT stories. IDW surprised us by bringing him back on board when they got their comic books as a co writer for this new series.

IDW issues 1 and 2 have now hit the market. If you're interested in finding these check your local comic shops or online to find out retailers that will ship to your area. With Tom Waltz as the co-writer for the comic and Dan Duncan as the artist, it's turning out to be a totally new twist on the Ninja Turtles.

The reason I ask is because you should switch the aspect ratio on the software to 16:9, thats what youtube uses now so that you can go full screen. And as for cameras I got my Hd camera that I use for ToptierGaming and my blog for about 40 bucks on ebay. Just a thought for ya?

@zwarrior4life Thanks for the recommendations, talking to my editor about her thoughts. We may go for the 16:9 thing, though I don't think we're going to jump at just any camera. We got our eyes on a few that will be working to raise up the funds for that stuff. Got a few ideas to raise up the money, though working towards that as our main goal is to keep the seasons recorded and on time while getting new and great things from each season.

Michelle what video editing software do you use?

@zwarrior4life The only one that works with my camcorder is Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0, though usually I just convert it to something my editor can use and send it off to her to edit the videos. This one was edited only with Adobe Premiere.

@ihategirls13 Well if people take part in our sales like when we had the T-Shirt sales this past summer, we could raise the money for the new camera needed along with mics. Though sadly we haven't gotten to that point and I do not have the amount of money needed to move forward with getting new stuff. I'll like to get it together but if the viewers want to complain about what we do post... my reply is put your money where your mouth is, next time we sell stuff take part in the sale.

Im not happy with the current licencing issue we have here in the UK! The main distributor is not allowed to sell the comics here and us uk fans still have to wait till licencing gets sorted out by Nick... I really want to read the new series :(
