some of my favourites are:
with Dave: In a simple rhyme, Meanstreet, Outta love again
with Sammy: Pouncake, Sucker in a three piece, mine o mine
with Gary: Year to the day (reminds of Led Zeppelin)
maybe there are more ACDC tracks that last longer, but Van Halen has this special vibration.
The core is the superb interaction of the VH Brothers.

are you serious? The Van Halen brothers are superb musicians. Eddie had a big impact in the guitar scene.
they never wrote big epics like Led Zeppelin or Iron Maiden, they are "just" a fun rock band. But so what?
If I really want to listen to "serious" music I dont listen to rock, but to classical music. Rock is fun, and Van Halen also the David Lee Roth band (Vai!!) really make me enjoy my time. What more do you want?

l can tell ya what you'll be singing 20 - 30 yrs from now, you'll be singing the same shit you were singing then, but to a much smaller crowd..... most overated band i've ever come across...........you want real rock, go check out bon scott ac/dc, or thin lizzy, thses type of bands have talent and natural class, not like this try hard
