@Pizzam4n THANK YOU!!! Whoever sais that's a flair must have been dropped a few too many times for that level of self-delusion. I'm here on Vancouver Island and somthing similar to this is happening EVERY NIGHT for at least the last 5 months! The difference is that the ones now are moving much more and are blue, purple. green and yellow.

I have another video, of me running out of the house to capture this footage, it's the same thing, but it's just before this video! Also I looked at army videos of flares and I haven't found anything that looks like what I saw that night! Check out the Army flares online, I bet you won't find another video like what I captured! over in ontario my friend and i saw the exact same thing, we live in a small town and she lives about 5 minutes away from me, i said look over near the bay behind your yard and there was the EXACT same thing in this video. it was pretty low, moving at a steady pace, as i was racing to get my camera her and her mother both yelled, it vanished ITS GONE! and it was, all of that 5 seconds looking for my camera it wouldnt have disappeared over the horizon yet. it was as bright as a street light!

@scarletttdior Hello, just to let you know this happened for about 20 minutes that's a rough estimate! My boyfriend saw it first on his way back from the grocery store, he got home and yelled for me, I looked outside and got all freaked out, so I grabbed my camcorder and ran outside to capture the lights! My sister in-law also saw it as she was on her way to my house! So I'm just guessing that it lasted for about 20 minutes! Thanks for watching!

@mbnyus Thanks! I know this is the first time I've seen anything like this, the same footage was filmed by people in Chemainus, Westholme, and in Victoria, which is about an hour from where we live, over the Malahat Mts.
