2 die in QC fire (Sunog sa Scout Bormeo sa Disperas ng pasko)

December 24, 2008 (The Day before Christmas Fire)
This fire happens in Scout Bormeo around 2'oclock in the morning. From the first building KGB bar, 2nd building Pantalan sa Timog bar, and the Fire stops at the 3rd bar called Mermaid. The next building in Mermaid is our DORM. We we're sleeping so tight then suddenly around 2'oclock in the morning we heard people shouting and their knocking at our room door. I thought it's already morning and other tenants preparing for Simbang Gabi, that's why I don't mind them but when I listen carefully I heard like there's a SUNOG then when we open the door, the owner of the dorm say's "Pls. maawa na kayo,.. bumaba na kayo,.. malaki na yung apoy" then I say to my Hon,.. "Kunin mo yung wallet, at yung dalawang cellphone." then she says "maghakot na tayo!" I said "titingnan ko muna,.." then I go out the dorm then I saw the big fire on the top of our side building and the Fire Fighters is only one truck that's why the fire went from 1st to 3rd establishment. I got back to our room I feel so shock I don't know what to do, I'm holding my head while saying,.. "bakit kasi wala pang bumbero,.." I feel like crying. That was really scary. Then my Hon shouted me saying "Maghakot na tayo!" then we bring the most important thing, our cellphone, wallet, important documents, 1storage of clothes and pictures. Then when the Fire Fighters came from another district it's around 4 to 4:30 in the morning. I'm really thankful to God, because we survive but too sad to those two who lost their lives at the day before Christmas. The news team who cover the incident arrived at 4-4:30am although we all know that the 2 broadcast company is a walking distance from the incident specially the channel2.
