Algerian author Anwar Malek lets off some steam to discuss the current plights facing the Arab World today. He deems that the Arabs today have lost their worth, their humanity, their culture, and are afflicted with false bravado and backwardness.
@ahmed337799 Just Google 'Attacks on Coptic Christians Egypt' and you will find story after story of attacks on Christians by fired-up Muslims in Egypt since the fall of Mubarak. Christians for years have been discriminated against for jobs and political positions. In Iraq, Christians are fleeing in thousands because of ethnic cleansing and attacks on churches.
@ahmed337799 ..... contd...The first thing Egyptians wanted to do after the initial recent coup was attack Israel and burn Christian churches. I would have thought that human rights would have been first, but Islamic emotion and a false propaganda about Islamic history got in the way. Saddam Hussein was very popular in the Muslim world despite the fact he oppressed his own people.Muslims need to stop lying to themselves if they ever want true freedom.
@ahmed337799 I'm well aware that the UK and the USA have interfered for many years in Arab and other oil-rich countries. However, the fact that Islam combines religion and politics doesn't help in changing the situation. I was in Iran at the time of the fall of the Shah, and saw a brutal dictatorship replaced by an even worse one. Until Muslims see that it is not an attack on Islam (but control of oil) Muslims will never free themselves....contd
"finally" what the hell do you know about arabs? we are a third world people like indians and africans and latinos. why do people expect more from us? especially when america keeps installing these dictatorships which make our situations incurable. eisenhower in the 1950s said that the u.s must prevent any development or democratic improvements in the middle east to keep control of the oil.
there just not that far yett i gues i mean arent those third world countrys,europe,and other countrys got to that point by wars by lots of epression of women and other thing,it takes time,
@TurboDally It seems to me that only a few people are noticing this.... this new idea of just living life partying and having fun will kill the west, all their media is about getting drunk and having sex. I believe the west got to where it is because of it's thousands of years of value in education. now more people watch lady Gaga and rihanna than a video about recent breakthroughs in science. disgusting..

@mucalinda
Complete BS. Christians are very well integrated into Egyptian society and have never feared their Muslim counterparts.
