Música cantada ao vivo pela poderosa voz de Teddy, que fechou definitivamente os olhos em 10/01/2010.
Nascido Theodore DeReese "Teddy" Pendergrass em 26/03/1950, foi vocalista do famoso grupo Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes nos anos 70, e nesta mesma década partiu para uma carreira solo bem sucedida.
Em 18/03/1982, sofreu um acidente automobilístico no qual ficou permanentemente paralizado da cintura para baixo.
Continuou lançando álbuns e fazendo shows até anunciar sua
aposentadoria, em 2006.
Enfim, cada um destes monstros sagrados da música que se vai leva junto uma pequena porção do meu coração, talvez de nossos corações: Teddy, Levi Stubbs, Michael Jackson, Paul Williams, Eddie Kendricks, David Ruffin, Marvin Gaye, Ray Charles, Edmund Sylvers,Tim Maia, James Brown, Etta James, Martha Reeves, Louis Armstrong, Low Rauls e tantos outros mais....
