How to Install full PA System - CB Radio And PA Speaker

This is a quick video of how to install a CB Radio along with powering it and hooking it up to a PA Speaker for less than $90. I will tell you everything to buy and how to wire it and set it up.

What to buy:

CB Radio - With PA setting.
PA Speaker - Buy on internet or at Radioshack.
3.5mm Wire w/ Tinned ends - Buy at Radioshack
Power Adapter Cigaret Lighter - Radioshack or internet
Electrical Tape - Anywhere


UPDATE!

I have now bought a Cobra 40 CB Radio and mounted it nicely.

I have ran it directly to the battery.

I now have a 4ft Firestik antenna.

The speaker has been remounted, and the cone CAN BE sawed off if need be. Just don't saw to deep.

When u cut one end off the male to male 3.5mm jack, there was a white,red, and yellow wire. Where does each wire go in accordance to the positive and negative speaker wire coming from your PA speaker?

@AAATACOMAN - sounds like a stereo wire to me. You need a mono, it will only have 2 connections. One in a thick rubber housing(+), and one thats normal(-).

Hey man i got everything. But instead of useing the CB watt i bought a 100 watt amp. I was wanting to know how to hook up the Cb to the amp then the amp to the Speaker.. Well the last part isnt that hard but how should i hook up the CB to the Amp so i can get it really loud.

Man dude i installed all of it but iu got a male Y thing. U said u think its Female i think it is too. Going to radio shake tomorrow to buy the new one. Hope it works. Got a video where it shows what it does and its still all hooked up.

@TriangleSandwiches Hey man i think i figered it out. This friday i will have all the Parts. Well just need the amp now. The whole thing cost me $160. I will put up a video on how to do it and what to buy. took me a day to figer this all out but i got it down. Soon i will have 100 watts PA system instead of 4-15 watts. i dont remember how many watts the Cb radio puts out.
