Thanks man! Even huge production shows don't use full stacks most of the time. You may see a band performing live, and see a huge wall of Marshall amps. Most of the time, they aren't being used at all. The band will have a half-stack or even sometimes a 2x12 (in Dream Theater/John Petrucci's case) backstage being mic'd. Due to these big production shows being performed by top-endorsee artists, their endorsement contract may require them to still display the amps...because it is advertisement.

Thanks for saving me some money :).
I wish your band the best of luck.

For guitar we just use a half stack and mic it. Full stacks aren't really necessary!

Do you guys use full stacks when you play live?

Man, that's REALLY great to hear. Very flattered, thanks for commenting. DT and Mastodon are some of our favorites too, so I'm glad we're fitting in as far as that goes. We definitely want it to make it out to Cali...it will most likely be next summer! Stay tuned bud.

Why do your tempo tracks go so fast!! You can cut them in half

I'm actually sitting at the studio as I type this, as we're actually finishing up guitars...I read everyone the comment and everyone said "You know, I really don't know why. That guy is probably right". Haha.

Yeah well usually I will do fast tempos like that when I phrase things in a 8/4 time, if your ganna use a track with a measure beep (the high one) take advantage of it and make sure the beeps are lining up with the phrases (or measures) I'm probably singing to the choir here but hey might as well throw it out there. Kudos on the good music, keep it up.
