  • I work at a museum in honor of this engines original railroad, in Townsend TN...if you get a chance ya'll should come down and give us a visit, check out the mountains.

  • I see that caboose #2623 is sporting a plank on this trip lettered - Little River LBR Co. Is that the same as the museum?

  • yep, the original railroad was the Little River Railroad and Lumber Company. you can check out our website to find out alot more...also that caboose is NOT from the original railroad like the engine, also the #1 tank engine is not from the original railroad, however we did have a #1 0-4-0 but it had a tender

  • Ya, I believe the cabooses are old B&O or C&O's. They got the tank engine from the Hesston Steam Museum's road side sigh display some years back and rebuilt her. I'm not sure what it was to start with.

  • we where on the train and on the the video. You did a great Job, and made the ride even more memorable. THANKS!!

  • Thank you. Which shot are you in? I usually would have got two more forward run-by shots, but Terry was pushing 110 over the line pretty good. Snow on the back roads made it tough to keep up too. I was going to run up there again on Sunday for more video, but my wife over ruled me on that one.

  • Hello Little River Railroad lovers I am Brakemen on the railroad there!!!!

  • Little RIver renumbered the tank engine in honor of the original #1 that LRR had in TN.

  • ah, yeah our caboose is a former L&N that we are rebuilding

  • well, the D&S has put a real pumpkin from silverton on top of the stack and it rode all the way down the mountain back to durango hahaha

  • I think we can safely say that LR 110 is the only locomotive to have a real snowman don the pilot. Awesome video!

  • Family of four 2:55 We showed the kids the video today and they FLIPPED OUT they thought it was so cool
