Messin' around with Korg Kaossilator, Roland SP-404 and Korg Kaoss Pad 3. It seems that these little machines are a nice team to play with.

1 Cuestion....If you had a kaoss pad 3 is useful the kaossilator?! or yo can do the same things with the kaoss pad 3!?

Nope, the KP has a little sampler unit included, the Kaossilatur is a synthesizer. It's a completely different kind of device. The Kaossilator is a nice addition to the KP3. You can sample the Kaossi's sound in real time w/ the KP3.

The original sound is recorded with Ableton Live. I "line dudded" it in Final Cut, cause my camcorder (the tiny JVC MC500) has no input for audio or a mic and the internal mic is really crappy.

Line dubbing is a lil tricky. So I made a "special move and sound" at the beginning with the 404, so I had a audio/visual "marking point" and it was way easier to find the sync.

@cloudzers777 they're very different kinds of instruments. The kaossilator is just a synthesizer it has different noises on it but the kp3 has a bunch of effects on it and you can record samples and play them back. the kp3 really isn't good for using the drums and synths it only has a couple. so yep kaossilator for makin music and kp3 for editing and stuff. but you can use any kind of instrument to plug in to the kp3 you can mess around with vocals piano synths and even loops from your computer.

KP3 buy a long shot...but they a few different things....KP3 in an inferior sampler as opposed to the 404 as you can align tracks more precisely and slice and dice. But the Kp3 can memorize finger patterns and has the X Y coordinates which make it more versatile in creating effects.

the two together....heavenly.....now throw the new Kassilator Pro in there and you got the dream team.

if you must choose, get the KP3, not 404! it's good
