Haitian Senator declares Haiti should thank the Dominican Republic.

The lies and rubbish propaganda that some people like Sonia Pierre, Christopher Hartley and some people with hidden interests on Youtube are once again exposed by the declaration of the haitian Senator Rudolph Boulos in his latest visit to the Dominican Republic (August 2009).

@chsn09 Actually, dominicans and haitians have a nice little relationship but just like other countries sharing a border, sometimes things can get a little heated. Most of the times, the haitians that you see provoking dominicans over youtube are haitians living in the USA, people that have little to do with Haiti and they only show their pride by wearing a flag or a tshirt...real haitians, the ones that are still in the island, are aware of the good will of the dominicans.

No country likes to have a migration of people that usually do not speak their language and comes here with no money and no job but even with all of that we have a good relationship with Haiti: Our hospitals, schools and jobs have always been open to them.

Although the Taínos's use of Haití is verified and the name was used by historians, evidence suggests that it probably was not the Taíno name of the whole island.
